Jules et Jim 1962 – Trussardi FW 2014
A collection for the stylish tomboy, for the rebel and unconventional, like Catherine in Truffaut’s Jules et Jim.
The inspiration for Trussardi’s FW 2014 collection came from Truffaut’s character and from Jean-Luc Godard’s Bande á Part.
The clothes were preppy, with two-tone oxfords and ivy league like sweaters. Masculine trousers and oversize blazers gave that boyish, french look that romantics are so fond of, and that Jeanne Moreau wore so well when she disguised herself as a boy and walked around Paris with her two beaux, Jules et Jim.
