The gangs from New York City have territories, rules and a dress code. Their uniforms -mostly badass, some a little unconfortable for battle if you ask me- are designed to set them apart from a distance: breton stripes, fedora hats, hawaiian shirts, polka dot ties and leather vests will tell you from far away if you took a wrong turn at Union Square.

A Tokyo Love Story

A Swedish Love Story 1970 + Factotum SS 2015

In my quest to find more cinephiles in the fashion industry, I found myself in unknown territory: Tokyo menswear approaching Swedish cinema.

What I didn’t expect was that this would lead me to get dressed the next morning, quite proudly, in my everyday uniform of loose cut jeans, t-shirt and white motorcycle jacket. Looks like Tokyo approves, and so does Sweden!
